To me, CrossFit is more than just exercise. 

It is about developing the mind as well as the body and developing skills that reach far outside of the gym. 

I believe that everyone has the capacity to achieve their highest potential. There is no goal that is too great or too small. Whatever that goal is, our aim is to help you work toward and develop that and to help you become stronger, more resilient, and better balanced.

My CrossFit Journey began in my basement in 2012. My husband was a member of a local gym and enthusiastically tried to share what he was learning with me. I was petrified to step foot in a gym, I was a runner and knew nothing of lifting weights (seriously no experience) and a pull-up seemed impossible. I “ just knew” everyone at the gym would be super-fit and I would stick out like a sore thumb. Several months later, I finally stepped into the gym only to realize that the people there were just like me… just wanting to do better every day than the previous one. I’m here to tell you that you can do it too. CrossFit is for anyone willing to show up.

I have a background in health care and have been a full-time practicing Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine since 2009. I am the mother of 3 growing children.  I can relate to many people who struggle to find the time or energy for fitness but am here to stress how important it is because of that! There is nothing to lose but the opportunity to start today!
